Okay, so I have decided that I am tired of being fat. Like really super tired of it.
Well at 5'5" and 209 pounds, I am fed up with how I look and what I weigh.
So you know what? I have decided to freaking do something about it. That being said, I have read wonderful things about the Flat Belly Diet so I have decided to give it a try.
The Flat Belly Diet is by Prevention Magazine and is basically a Mediterranean style diet that focuses on controlling calories and portion sizes while focusing on MUFAs (monounsaturated fatty acids) that even include dark chocolate!
And so it begins... the start of the initial 32 day challenge that includes a 4 day detox period and 4 weeks of strictly controlled 400 calorie meals. The book I have is such a nice hard cover that I can't bear to write in it, so instead I will keep track of everything in this blog. Shopping lists, exercises, moods, and even *gasp* my current weight and measurements. I am hoping that by making this public, it will give me an extra boost to say motivated with sticking to it.
Coming tomorrow... my shopping for my 4 day detox.
